Marketing Intern | IVIONICS

The Tone:
This is an unpaid Marketing learning internship at IVIONICS, located On-Site. IVIONICS is a growing technology services organization. This role offers students a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop practical marketing skills, and understand how marketing strategies support growth within the technology sector. The internship is designed to help individuals build professional skills in communication, digital marketing, content creation, and marketing research, allowing them to explore a career in marketing or digital media.

• Team: Marketing Department, reporting to Marketing Manager
• Mission: To provide educational training and hands-on exposure to marketing concepts, tools, and strategies within the technology and managed services industry, complementing academic learning.
• Tech Stack: Social media platforms, marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), CRM systems, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Assist with preparing and distributing company newsletters, marketing content such as blog posts, social media updates, short-form videos, or promotional materials.
• Campaign Participation: Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives under supervision.
• Event Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating various marketing events.
• Research: Conduct research on current marketing trends and relevant topics within the industry.
• Administrative Support: Support administrative or organizational marketing tasks related to ongoing projects, ensuring smooth operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Students currently pursuing or recently completing degrees in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design or Visual Communications, or Marketing Analytics/Business Analytics.
• Experience: Interest in marketing and technology, with an eagerness to learn, collaborate, and gain hands-on exposure to marketing initiatives within a technology environment.
• Skills: Strong foundational understanding or interest in communication, digital marketing, content creation, marketing research, and collaboration.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other design tools; interest in social media marketing and digital content creation; exposure to marketing automation platforms or CRM tools (such as HubSpot); interest in video editing or multimedia content creation; or a general interest in technology, SaaS, AI, or software companies.
