Director, AI Adoption & Operations Integration | Greystar

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Greystar, located in Remote, Arizona, United States. Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform, managing and operating over one million units/beds globally. This Director position is responsible for leading the adoption, integration, and scaling of AI across property management operations, acting as the central connector between technology, operations, and business stakeholders. The role is critical for ensuring AI initiatives are coordinated, measured, and delivering real value to onsite teams, corporate functions, and clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Use Case Identification: Find, vet, and sequence high-impact AI opportunities across onsite and corporate functions by partnering with field and corporate teams.
• Adoption & Change Management: Own the change management and adoption strategy for AI rollouts, driving sustained behavior change through leadership engagement and performance alignment.
• Enablement & Training: Partner with Operations Enablement and vendor teams to develop and deliver tailored training, SOPs, and communications for various internal teams and clients.
• Program Management & Reporting: Lead end-to-end program management of AI initiatives, including planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and defining/tracking success metrics for executive reporting.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage AI vendor relationships, coordinating pilot scoping, roadmap alignment, and tracking performance to ensure successful transition from pilot to scaled deployment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, with 7+ years of progressive experience in property management operations, business optimization, technology adoption, or a related field within real estate services.
• Experience: 3+ years leading cross-functional programs, demonstrated experience leading technology adoption, change management, and process improvement initiatives across diverse stakeholders. Deep understanding of property management operations, ideally including direct experience in roles like Regional Property Manager or Director.
• Skills: Strong understanding of property management workflows and ability to translate operational challenges into scalable solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive and client audiences. Demonstrated proficiency with AI productivity tools and experience leading complex, cross-functional programs. Strong analytical skills to define KPIs and track pilot performance, plus working knowledge of AI trends.
• Bonus: Master’s or MBA preferred. Background in program management, consulting, or business transformation preferred.
