Intern (Fall 2026) – Dynamic Survey | Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC

The Tone:
This is an internship at Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC, located in Marlton, NJ. Dynamic Engineering Consultants is a nationally recognized multidisciplinary consulting firm with over 400 professionals, providing engineering, surveying, environmental, planning, landscape architecture, and traffic engineering services across the United States. This role is crucial for assisting experienced surveyors and staff engineers by gathering essential data to complete diverse survey projects for the company’s broad client base. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship (Fall 2026)
• Location: In-person, Marlton, NJ
• Pay: $20–$23 hourly
• Team: Survey Interns support and report to surveyors, staff engineers, and supervisors.
• Mission: Assist with obtaining necessary data to complete a variety of land surveys on behalf of the company.
• Tech Stack: AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project

What You’ll Actually Do
• Survey Assignments: Perform selected survey assignments quickly and accurately, contributing to project progress.
• Conduct Surveys: Execute a variety of surveys including site surveys, boundary, topographic, plot plans, roadway utility, and subdivision plans.
• Prepare Files: Prepare and set up survey files efficiently for field crews to ensure smooth operation.
• Research Deeds: Conduct deed and filed map research for comprehensive boundary analysis to inform survey projects.
• Manage Field Equipment: Prepare detailed field notes and organize field equipment for optimal use and maintenance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent with foundational knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in surveying, demonstrating a practical understanding of survey principles.
• Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project; excellent written and oral communication abilities; and strong independent and critical thinking skills.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Surveying is preferred, along with the ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training and OSHA 40 safety training.
