The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ruby Enterprises, located in the Greater New Orleans area. This role is vital for leading restaurant operations and ensuring both team member growth and exceptional guest experiences.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Greater New Orleans Area
• Team: Reports to the General Manager, supervises hourly Team Members.
• Mission: Ensures the efficient and successful operation of the IHOP restaurant and fosters a positive work environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Profitability: Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits for the restaurant unit.
• Lead Team Operations: Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising performance of Team Members.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations to maintain quality standards, exceptional customer service, and efficient workflow.
• Implement Company Standards: Execute annual financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives in accordance with IHOP Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage Resources & Compliance: Ensure adequate supply levels, proper operational condition of equipment and premises, and uphold safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with familiarity in the restaurant industry and the IHOP brand.
• Experience: Previous relevant work experience, ranging from a few years to several years. Familiarity with industry-specific software, including point-of-sale systems, is also valuable.
• Skills: Strong leadership for supervising and guiding staff; effective communication for interacting with team members and guests; robust organizational and problem-solving abilities for managing operations; excellent customer service skills; and a basic understanding of financial principles.
• Bonus: Food Safety certification (can be obtained during employment), completion of assigned IHOP training courses, and availability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays.
