Gameday Intern – Promotions and Fan Experience | Forward Madison FC

The Tone:
This is an internship at Forward Madison FC, located in Madison, WI. Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to their team. This role is designed for those looking to gain practical experience in the sports industry by learning the specifics of match production. Interns will work alongside established industry leaders, playing a direct part in creating memorable fan experiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Promotions & Activations: Lead the full lifecycle of gameday giveaways and themed event activations, including their initial setup, execution during matches, and final breakdown.
• Fan Engagements: Execute a variety of pregame and halftime fan activations, which encompass elements like the national anthem ceremony, fan contests, recognition programs, and sponsor-driven engagements.
• Guest Services Support: Act as a primary point of contact for fans at the Guest Services area, effectively representing the brand and efficiently directing fan questions to the appropriate team members.
• Hospitality & Special Experiences: Support the overall fan experience by gaining an understanding of and assisting in hospitality areas for all matches, and executing themed promotions such as VIP meet and greets.
• Match Day Operations: Assist with comprehensive match-day setup and teardown activities, including the coordination of the mascot, installation of in-stadium signage, and implementation of gameday programming.

• Experience: While no specific prior experience or years are required, candidates must demonstrate the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends, aligning with the demands of match days.
• Skills: Candidates must possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with fans and team members; proven attention to detail for precise execution of tasks; the ability to follow directions accurately and complete assigned tasks with a degree of independence; and the capacity to multitask and stay highly organized when managing various concurrent projects.
