Director, AI Adoption & Operations Integration | Greystar

The Tone:
This is a Director-level role at Greystar, a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform. Greystar offers expertise in property management, investment management, development, and construction services, managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate globally. This position is crucial for spearheading the adoption and scaling of AI across Greystar’s property management operations. The role ensures that AI initiatives are strategically integrated, effectively measured, and consistently deliver tangible value to onsite teams, corporate functions, and clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Use Case Identification: Find, vet, and sequence high-impact AI opportunities across onsite and corporate functions.
• Adoption & Change Management: Own the change management and adoption strategy for AI rollouts, driving sustained behavior change across teams.
• Enablement & Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training, standard operating procedures, and communications tailored for diverse teams and clients.
• Program Management: Lead program management of AI initiatives end-to-end, including planning, execution, and tracking across deployments.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage AI vendor relationships, coordinating pilot scoping, roadmap alignment, and performance tracking.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or related fields. Director level experience in property management operations, business optimization, or technology adoption within real estate services.
• Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years leading complex cross-functional programs involving technology adoption, change management, and process improvement. Deep understanding of property management operations and workflows.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) and willingness to role-model their use. Strong analytical skills to define KPIs, track pilot performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive and client audiences. Working knowledge of AI and emerging technology trends relevant to real estate operations.
• Bonus: Master’s or MBA preferred. Background in program management, consulting, or business transformation. Familiarity with CRM platforms and property management technology stacks.
