Assistant Manager, Learning & Development | Mashreq

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development, will play a key role in supporting strategic talent development and ensuring an exceptional learning experience that contributes directly to organizational growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• LMS Management: Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms to ensure seamless delivery of learning services and maintain system functionality.
• Program Coordination: Coordinate and oversee a wide range of learning programs, workshops, and development initiatives from inception through completion across the entire organization. This includes managing learning nominations, registrations, course assignments, assessments, and surveys.
• Learning Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on critical learning metrics, dashboards, and the overall effectiveness of training using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to generate actionable insights.
• Program Development & Support: Support the design, delivery, and facilitation of behavioral and professional development programs. This also includes coordinating employee induction programs to ensure a positive onboarding learning experience.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement: Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to identify capability gaps and support learning needs analysis activities. Additionally, manage relationships with external training providers to ensure quality delivery of learning solutions and support compliance, audit, regulatory reporting, policy governance, and learning administration tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, education, or a related discipline, essential for understanding the core principles of learning and talent development within an organization.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience, specifically within Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Human Resources. This includes hands-on experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR learning platforms, crucial for managing the learning ecosystem. Previous experience working within a large organization, preferably in the banking or financial services sector, is also required.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI, with a proven ability to generate actionable learning insights and inform decision-making.
