Lead Esthetician | Estate Yountville

This is a senior service provider and clinical leader role at Estate Yountville, located in Yountville, CA. Estate Yountville is a luxurious retreat nestled on 22 acres in the heart of Napa Valley, recognized as one of California’s best hotels by Condé Nast Traveler. The property features 192 elegantly appointed guest rooms, a private vineyard, world-class amenities including two pools, a spa with 12 treatment rooms, and refined culinary offerings. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional skincare and esthetic treatments, while also supporting spa leadership in maintaining service standards, fostering team development, and ensuring treatment consistency across all esthetic services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver specialized treatments: Perform all facial, skincare, and esthetic treatments as per the Spa Treatment Menu and Esthetics Protocol Manual, customizing them based on guest skin conditions, health considerations, and feedback.
• Guide team development: Supervise and support the esthetics team, ensuring accountability and service consistency by training new estheticians on spa protocols, treatment standards, product usage, and sanitation requirements.
• Optimize spa operations: Serve as a clinical resource for the esthetics team, assist in interviewing candidates, and collaborate with the Spa Director to refine treatment protocols and introduce new skincare offerings.
• Maintain operational excellence: Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, properly stocked, and presentation-ready, monitor professional product inventory, and comply with all state board regulations.
• Uphold luxury standards: Reinforce performance standards including rebooking, enhancement capture, retail conversion, and guest satisfaction, while providing ongoing coaching to estheticians for technical refinement and service consistency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A licensed Esthetician with a current and active license in good standing, having completed all state-required esthetics training hours. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of skin physiology, product ingredients, contraindications, and esthetic technologies, supported by a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of experience as a licensed Esthetician, with a preference for experience gained within a luxury spa environment.
• Skills: Excellent communication abilities, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, the capacity to exercise sound judgment, and the ability to make timely decisions in a service-oriented setting.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a leadership or senior esthetician role is preferred, demonstrating an ability to guide and mentor a team.
