Store Leader (Manager) Trainee | 7-Eleven

As a Store Leader Trainee, you will learn to lead the store’s leadership team, execute merchandising and marketing initiatives, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional customer service, ultimately shaping the future of convenience.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person
• Pay: $54340–$60060 yearly
• Team: Leads a store leadership team including one or two Assistant Store Leaders.
• Mission: Owns the development and execution of store operations to achieve profitability, excellent customer service, and team growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service Leadership: Oversee and provide leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Team Development: Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
• Program Implementation: Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs to enhance store offerings.
• Financial Analysis: Utilize P&L and various store reports to analyze business performance and implement strategic changes.
• Operational Management: Manage cash handling procedures, fuel transactions, and the promotion of the rewards loyalty program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Trainee for a Manager role. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience: Previous supervisory experience; at least one year of retail management experience if no High School diploma or GED.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills; proficient computer knowledge; ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bonus: High School diploma or GED; a valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance; proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
