As a Case Manager, you will be a key player in supporting attorneys to develop client settlements and prepare necessary legal documents and correspondence, ensuring clients receive the dedicated advocacy they deserve.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact, engaging daily with both new and existing clients via telephone and in-person, providing updates, and gathering essential information throughout their case.
• Documentation and Records Acquisition: Proactively order and secure critical medical records from healthcare providers and obtain all necessary documents to support client injury and/or liability positions.
• Third-Party Coordination: Systematically interact with various insurance carriers and healthcare providers to efficiently secure required records and accurate account balances, ensuring smooth case progression.
• Case File Organization and Management: Meticulously maintain organized case files from initial intake through closing, working directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files under attorney direction.
• Settlement Demand Preparation: Under the direct supervision of an attorney, prepare comprehensive demand packages, assemble all supporting documentation for strategic submission to insurance carriers, and present case synopses when required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a professional capable of managing a varied caseload, demonstrating customer focus and empathy. Core domain knowledge in legal support or insurance adjusting is valuable for this position.
• Experience: Candidates should possess experience in proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, alongside a proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills are essential for juggling multiple deadlines in a demanding workload. Strong writing and communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required, along with a typing speed of no less than 35 WPM.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will also have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or at least two years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster.
