This is a travel nurse RN position within the Emergency Department, located in Framingham, Massachusetts. • Mission: To provide essential emergency care to a diverse patient population within a 33-bed Emergency Department.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of diagnoses and treatments.
• Manage patient assignments effectively, maintaining a general nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
• Perform specialized medical procedures, including moderate sedation and the application of restraints, as needed.
• Accurately document patient information, assessments, and interventions using Medhost and Meditech charting systems.
• Work consistent 12-hour evening shifts, contributing 36 hours per week to the Emergency Department team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a specific focus and specialization in Emergency Room care.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of direct experience as an Emergency Room RN.
• Skills: Hold an active RN-MA license (or have one pending upon submittal) and current certifications in BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA, NIH Stroke Scale, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and Management of Assaultive Behavior.
• Bonus: Previous travel nursing experience and familiarity with Cerner charting systems are considered advantageous.
