Human Resources Director | Arcadia Care

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Arcadia Care, a facility dedicated to providing quality care within the healthcare sector. The company’s mission revolves around creating a supportive and engaging environment for its staff, which directly impacts the quality of care provided to residents. This Human Resources Director role is pivotal in managing the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing engagement and compliance. The individual in this position will be instrumental in partnering with both staff and management to uphold company policies and federal, state, and local guidelines, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace culture for everyone.

• Team: Functions as a strategic partner across various departments, employees, and with the administrator.
• Mission: Manage the full employee life cycle for the facility in accordance with current applicable, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Talent Acquisition: Direct and manage the complete recruitment process for staff members, which includes conducting thorough background checks to ensure the hiring of qualified individuals for the facility’s needs.
• Employee Relations: Proactively manage and effectively resolve complex employee relations issues, fostering a fair and productive work environment for all staff members within the facility.
• HR Administration: Meticulously maintain all employee files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable facility, local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
• Cultural Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to various departments, employees, and the administrator, actively influencing and enhancing company culture through engaging new hire orientation programs and ongoing employee engagement initiatives.
• Compliance & Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to department managers on proper guidelines, procedures, and company policies, ensuring strict adherence to all facility, local, state, and federal regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a Director-level position requiring a comprehensive understanding of human resources principles and practices.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant job experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in long-term care settings.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, proficiency in computer applications, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred for this position.
