Logistics Coordinator – Weekend 1st Shift | DSV – Global Transport and Logistics

The Tone:
This is a full-time position as an Administrative and Receiving Support Staff member at DSV, located in Wichita, Kansas. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning of the Spirit Distribution Center (SDC), where you will manage and coordinate essential administrative and receiving tasks. Your contributions will directly support the steady flow of goods, ensuring timely processing and compliance with operational standards, thereby impacting DSV’s commitment to reliable customer service.

• Mission: To manage and coordinate administrative and receiving tasks within the Spirit Distribution Center (SDC) to ensure efficient goods flow and compliance with procedures.
• Tech Stack: Warehouse Management System (WMS)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Management: Manage and wave plan all orders entering the SDC process to optimize workflow.
• Consignee Key Establishment: Ensure a properly loaded consignee key is established for all delivery addresses.
• System Processing: Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), maintaining the highest integrity.
• Order Fulfillment: Make efforts to prep and process all orders/waves promptly and handle orders accurately within established timeframes.
• Operational Reporting: Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during daily operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career experience supporting administrative and receiving operations, ideally within a logistics, transport, or distribution center environment, handling various types of goods.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with accurately processing orders, managing inbound product receipts, and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers. This includes maintaining the integrity of data within logistical systems.
• Skills: Strong capabilities in accurate and timely order processing, proficient use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), meticulous attention to detail in handling administrative tasks, and effective communication for problem notification to leadership.
