The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person leadership role at Bickford Senior Living, a company dedicated to enriching the happiness and championing the quality of life for all seniors. Since its founding in 1991, Bickford has grown into a community of caregivers across over 50 locations in 7 states, maintaining a strong family environment. The Executive Director is the operations leader responsible for driving the culture and overall performance of a Bickford Branch. This position is vital for ensuring excellent resident care and engagement, achieving optimal sales results, and maintaining strong financial performance, contributing directly to the company’s mission and supportive community environment. The TL;DR

• Team: Interacts with Branch staff and department managers, supervises and directs the Branch team.
• Mission: Lead the overall operations, culture, and performance of a Bickford Branch to ensure excellent resident care and engagement, optimal sales results, and financial performance.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Branch Operations: Oversee and manage all operational activities within the Branch, engaging with staff, residents, and prospective families while cultivating strong working relationships with the management team.
• Develop and Retain Talent: Attract, recruit, and hire high-quality and engaged staff, providing supervision, direction, and development to ensure the Branch is appropriately scheduled, staffed, and meets all regulatory requirements.
• Cultivate Resident Relationships: Maintain positive relations with residents and their families, being accessible and approachable to ensure excellent care, engagement, and address their needs.
• Drive Sales and Financial Performance: Collaborate with the Branch Sales Leader to achieve sales targets, ensuring the Branch meets necessary occupancy levels and net operating income (NOI) goals.
• Uphold Standards and Property: Enforce current company policies, procedures, and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, while maintaining the buildings, grounds, and property in good order.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive leadership with a high-school diploma or GED, along with the necessary state licensure to operate an Assisted Living Facility.
• Experience: Proven experience managing the operations of a business, with senior housing operations experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), possessing strong written and verbal communication, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in a related health care field.
