Director of Business Development | TMC: Therapy Management Corporation

The Tone:
This is a role focused on business development for TMC Therapy Management Corporation, a nationally recognized leader in therapy services operating across multiple states. TMC partners with skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. This position is vital for expanding the company’s reach by identifying new opportunities and fostering growth, ensuring clinicians can deliver exceptional patient care. The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Location: Travel required across multiple states

• Team: Reports to the Vice President of Business Development and works closely with the Executive Director of Business Development and Regional Directors.
• Mission: To locate new opportunities to develop business, build client relationships, and perform market analysis to drive company growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Plan Development: Assist the Executive Director of Business Development in developing an extensive annual marketing plan.
• Opportunity Generation: Locate new business opportunities by visiting existing and new customers across assigned territories.
• Strategy Implementation: Develop individualized new business strategies tailored for assigned territories.
• Client Relationship Building: Create and build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
• Performance Reporting: Submit weekly new business development reports to the Vice President of Business Development and communicate leads to Regional Directors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a sales role.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, reliability, and an ability to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
• Bonus: Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy, coupled with a passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.
