This Human Resources Director position is critical to supporting that mission by ensuring the facility has the right personnel and robust HR operations to deliver excellent care.

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, South Hills, PA
• Team: Reports to Administrator or Director of Human Resources; collaborates with department directors.
• Mission: Owns the management of personnel operations and HR compliance to ensure a compassionate and effective environment for quality resident care.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruitment: Manage all requests for new and replacement personnel, including filling approved positions and arranging interviews.
• Payroll: Process the facility’s payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Personnel Data: Maintain comprehensive job application files and a database log of all applicants, including their application status.
• Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensure the strict confidentiality of all personnel information in accordance with the Privacy Act and established policies, while also complying with the Corporate Compliance plan.
• Employee Relations: Coordinate employment terminations with Department Directors and the Administrator, and participate in employee performance evaluations to determine growth needs and goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Core domain knowledge in Human Resources principles and practices.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with union environments within a healthcare setting.
• Skills: Proficient in payroll processing, skilled in compiling statistical data, and adept at maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
