Admissions Director | Pikes Peak Post Acute
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Pikes Peak Post Acute, an organization dedicated to providing post-acute care services. This critical position is responsible for driving facility growth by managing the entire admissions process. The Admissions Director ensures a seamless and positive experience for residents, families, and staff, directly contributing to the facility’s census goals and overall operational success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Admissions Management: Manage the admissions process efficiently to ensure a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff.
• Operations Oversight: Plan, direct, and monitor the daily operations of the Admissions Department to ensure budgeted resident census goals are met.
• Information Gathering: Obtain applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information, verifying details, and interviewing patients and family members.
• Service Coordination: Coordinate and arrange physical, social, emotional, and support services requirements for residents, including transportation.
• Referral Source Development: Initiate, nurture, and maintain contacts with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to maximize referrals and facilitate admissions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level position requiring, at minimum, a high school diploma or GED in a health care or related field.
• Experience: Two years of admissions experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products; ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and professional journals; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations; strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree in health care or a related field, or an LVN or RN license is preferred.
