What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Management & Support: Oversee the full scope of daily office operations and administrative support functions, including managing office supplies, coordinating vendor relationships, and addressing general facility administrative needs.
• Employee Administration & Compliance: Coordinate critical employee processes such as onboarding, maintain accurate employee records, provide essential payroll support, track attendance, and ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures by managing personnel files.
• Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the central and primary point of contact for all employees, external customers, and internal corporate support teams, facilitating clear and timely communication.
• Leadership & Operational Assistance: Actively assist facility leadership with crucial tasks including reporting, scheduling, customer communications, and the maintenance of operational documentation, ensuring seamless daily transportation and logistics functions.
• Engagement & Improvement: Support employee engagement initiatives, maintain training records, manage safety documentation, and contribute to special projects and continuous improvement efforts within the facility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This managerial role is suitable for candidates with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in office administration, human resources, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in office administration, human resources, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook, is also required.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong organizational capabilities, an ability to multitask effectively, and exceptional customer service skills are crucial. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include prior experience with payroll, timekeeping, human resources (HR), or workforce management systems. Additionally, experience supporting hourly workforces within a manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or transportation environment would be highly valued.
