The Team Lead, Warehouse role is pivotal in supporting these daily warehouse operations, coordinating team activities to ensure the accurate, efficient, and safe handling of products. This position serves as the initial point of contact for team members, assisting management in maintaining workflow, productivity, and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

• Mission: Coordinate a designated team to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe daily warehouse operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Team Activities: Lead and support warehouse associates across daily operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Oversee Workflow and Compliance: Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure productivity, accuracy, and strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct Training and Coaching: Train new and existing associates on Standard Operating Procedures for shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control, providing continuous coaching and feedback.
• Resolve Operational Discrepancies: Research and resolve discrepancies encountered in shipping and receiving processes, escalating complex operational issues to the Supervisor or Manager as required.
• Maintain Safety and Quality Standards: Ensure the proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), uphold adherence to safety policies, and conduct regular quality and inventory checks to minimize errors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), accompanied by at least one year of experience in a logistics, distribution, or other relevant environment.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts, alongside current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
• Skills: Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the capability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner and perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance. Demonstrate the ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating work environment. Fluent in English, both orally and in writing. Proficiency is required in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Bonus: Prior knowledge of warehouse management systems is considered a valuable asset.
