Management Trainee – Carmel/Westfield | Enterprise

The Tone:
This is a Management Trainee position at Enterprise, located in Carmel/Westfield, Indiana. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, through an integrated global network. This company offers extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and other transportation services to make travel easier for customers. As a Management Trainee, you will be instrumental in learning the business from day one, serving as the face of Enterprise to customers and partners, and mastering the skills needed to run your own branch and develop a team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve Customers: Act as the primary point of contact for Enterprise, engaging with customers and partners.
• Manage Operations: Perform behind-the-scenes operational duties crucial for daily branch functions.
• Develop Business: Cultivate new business relationships within the community to grow the branch’s client base.
• Lead a Team: Acquire the skills and knowledge to effectively develop and manage a team.
• Master Business Functions: Excel in customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and overall operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Management, requiring a Bachelor’s degree or being a current college student with no more than one semester remaining until graduation.
• Experience: Minimum of six months experience in two or more of the following: sales (commission-based or with set goals/bonus potential), customer service in a service industry (e.g., retail, restaurant, hospitality), management experience leading a team, participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional, or varsity team, or a leadership role in campus or community involvement.
• Skills: Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past two years, and no drug or alcohol-related conviction on your record in the past five years (e.g., DUI, DWI). Authorization to work in the United States without requiring future work authorization sponsorship is also required.
