Senior Product Manager Activation & Fulfillment | Mashreq

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mashreq, located in Pakistan. Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited focuses on providing banking services, and this position is critical to enhancing the customer’s journey after opening an account. The role ensures that new customers can quickly and smoothly activate and fulfill their accounts, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the bank.

• Mission: Own the downstream onboarding journey, ensuring efficient activation and fulfillment for new accounts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journey Ownership: Own the entire end-to-end downstream onboarding journey, encompassing account fulfillment, activation, and funding.
• Operational Efficiency & Coordination: Partner with and coordinate stakeholders such as Operations and Compliance to drive operational efficiencies, reduce backlogs, and improve turnaround times for activation and case processing.
• Customer Experience & Communication: Improve the overall customer experience in account opening and activation, including driving omni-channel communications to reach customers for pending dependencies.
• Performance Tracking & Management: Manage stationery inventory and closely track key metrics such as activation rates, Straight-Through Processing (STP) percentage, and activation backlog.
• Strategic Influence: Engage and influence senior management and major stakeholders to secure buy-in and support for key initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree in Marketing or a related field, with a focus on customer acquisition, strategy, design, and implementation within the banking or financial industry.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in the banking or financial industry.
• Skills: Customer acquisition strategy development, operational efficiency improvement, stakeholder management and coordination, customer journey design and implementation, and performance tracking and analysis.
