• Team: Collaborates closely with Global sales enablement teams, Sales Leadership, Marketing peers, and Global Product specialists.
• Mission: Develops and maintains MFS investment product selling systems, including compelling content, to promote institutional investment capabilities and engage sophisticated audiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement Product Marketing Strategy: Develop institutional product marketing plans and frame MFS investment capability positioning across institutional client segments, leveraging market insights and competitive differentiation.
• Develop Sales Enablement Systems: Create and maintain institutional investment capability positioning and sales narratives, translating portfolio offerings and allocator challenges into compelling messaging and content.
• Manage Product Launches: Coordinate input from sales, investments, and channel marketing to build necessary content, marketing collateral, and promotions for new product introductions.
• Produce Thought Leadership: Generate sophisticated institutional-investor-focused content that translates market trends, investment insights, and portfolio challenges into compelling investment opportunities.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert: Act as the primary resource for integrated marketing materials that position and differentiate MFS with institutional audiences, including pensions, insurers, and consultants.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience with 8-12+ years of total relevant work experience. Deep investment product marketing experience specifically focused on institutional investors.
• Experience: Proven experience with institutional asset classes, investment strategies, and investment vehicles, including separate accounts and pooled funds. Demonstrated ability to translate institutional client challenges and market conditions into differentiated marketing, positioning, and sales enablement strategies.
• Skills: Excellent influencing skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to synthesize market events and investment research into compelling thought leadership and sales narratives. Ability to partner with enablement, sales, and channel marketing to ensure continuous client feedback and understanding of evolving client needs.
