The TL;DR

• Pay: $90000–$130000 yearly
• Mission: Owns the production schedule for high-complexity, high-mix aerospace products, ensuring >95% on time delivery, and optimizes the production planning process through data analytics and continuous improvement.
• Tech Stack: Epicor ERP, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Epicor BAQ, SQL, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning: Develop the production schedule to meet external customer delivery requirements and internal revenue targets.
• Coordination: Review customer orders, factory capacity, and material availability to provide accurate product ship dates for Sales & Marketing.
• Problem Solving: Advise management of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems, collaborating with various departments to prioritize and expedite parts.
• Monitoring: Actively monitor and level workload with capacity constraints at the resource level, releasing and tracking manufacturing jobs to ensure schedule compliance.
• Optimization: Utilize ERP system data to extract and analyze supply chain information, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive process improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Logistics, or a related discipline; US Person or eligible to obtain required export authorization.
• Experience: Exposure to or experience with production planning using systems such as Epicor, SAP, MAPICS or the equivalent; strong analytic background and proficiency in Excel.
• Skills: Exceptional skills in developing queries, performing analysis, and converting data into informative insights; self-motivated and proactive with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as a member of a cross-functional team.
• Bonus: Strong background in Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis; APICS certifications (CSCP or CPIM); experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and/or Epicor BAQ; experience with SQL; experience leveraging AI to automate portions of the planning process.
