Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) | U.S. Bank

• Mission: Engage and build relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking and digital solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Engage clients via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide counsel with a digital first mindset.
• Needs Assessment & Solutioning: Proactively outreach, ask questions, and learn about client financial needs and banking channel preferences to identify suitable solutions.
• Product Education & Recommendation: Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on their unique goals.
• Account Management & Transactions: Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, submit credit applications, and process basic transactions.
• Collaboration & Digital Adoption: Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent; National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• Experience: Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Skills: Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up; effective client engagement and communication skills; working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products; proven customer service and interpersonal skills; experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Bonus: Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems; ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset; demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs.
