Assistant Fitness Manager | Crunch Fitness, Primetime Fitness LLC

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Activation & Support: Assist the Fitness Manager in booking Kickoffs and activating Personal Training (PT) programs, ensuring staff meet kickoff booking and show goals.
• Trainer Development & Productivity: Facilitate the growth of trainer education and the application of best practices, while managing the daily productivity of the training team, including prospecting, lead generation, and client retention.
• New Hire Onboarding & Mentorship: Work with new trainers to complete onboarding checklists, provide guidance on how to succeed, and hold them accountable to their business plans.
• Operational Leadership: Serve as the primary Manager on Duty, working with staff and members when other management personnel are unavailable, and upholding club protocols and procedures.
• Personal Training Sales & Management: Develop new coaches, ensure monthly PT and revenue goals are met, present private services to all members, and continuously develop leads and referrals while mastering PT software and training staff on its functions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a fitness background and knowledge of the club’s exercise equipment, programs, exercise principles, protocol, and culture. Must maintain CPR/AED Certification.
• Experience: Ability to manage time effectively, maintain organized thought patterns, and demonstrate overall good judgment, planning, and direction. Proficiency with VFP, Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, ABC, and Data Trak PT.
• Skills: Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people, teach, and motivate them effectively. Demonstrates strong managerial habits, professionalism, consistency, reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to cope well with stress.
• Bonus: Identifying and incorporating current fitness and market trends, continued development of leadership skills, and ongoing development of marketing and sales skills related to promoting programs and services.
