General Manager II – Store 4735 – Wildwood, FL | Advance Auto Parts

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Advance Auto Parts, located in Wildwood, FL. Advance Auto Parts builds a professional-level sales and management organization focused on inspiring teams and helping customers succeed. This role is crucial for growing the business with integrity, achieving financial metrics, and maintaining high service and appearance standards across the store operations.

• Team: Manages a team of 10-20 store Team Members.
• Mission: Lead store operations to achieve sales and service objectives, grow Professional Customer relationships, and develop a high-performing team.
• Tech Stack: Store systems, POS and Parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY services, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales & Service: Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives for both DIY and Professional Customers.
• Customer Relationships: Manage and expand Professional Customer relationships and program growth by leading the team to execute customer action plans.
• Team Leadership: Oversee selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and engagement of all store Team Members.
• Operational Standards: Ensure the consistent execution of all inventory and operational standards throughout the store.
• On-Duty Management: Fulfill manager-on-duty responsibilities, including coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment, safety, and open/close procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level with an understanding of store and automotive systems, and parts knowledge. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 Team Members in a fast-paced retail environment, coupled with proven financial and business acumen in managing profitability.
• Skills: Ability to review and analyze profit and loss statements, proficiently recruit, select, hire, and develop quality Team Members, and effectively build and grow relationships with Professional Customers.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, ASE certification, proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, and the ability to speak Spanish.
