Fall Internship 2026 – eCommerce Operations Intern | HUGO BOSS
The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at HUGO BOSS, a global organization with over 17,000 employees worldwide, committed to becoming a leading premium tech-driven fashion platform and one of the top 100 global brands. The intern will contribute to shaping the future of fashion by supporting a team that directly influences the customer experience across directly operated sites and retail partner channels.
The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (20-24 hours per week for the Fall 2026 term, September 14 – December 11)
• Location: In-person, New York, NY
• Pay: $17 hourly
• Team: eCommerce Operations team
• Mission: Contribute to enhancing the customer experience by supporting critical digital business operations, department projects, and day-to-day functional areas such as customer service, fulfillment, and fraud prevention.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP (plus)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Actively participate in e-commerce and omnichannel projects, assisting with business requirement definition, process mapping, implementation support, and the creation of presentations and analyses.
• Order Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer order issues, including those related to missing or inadequate information, fulfillment problems, customer complaints, fraud claims, and backend system malfunctions.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Support the operations team during monthly front-end and back-end releases, site enhancements, and IT developments, performing quality assurance to identify and report issues for resolution.
• Customer Feedback Analysis: Monitor customer chat transcripts and survey responses, identifying key trends, escalating concerns to appropriate internal partners, and assisting with customer service policy administration.
• Retail Partner Operations: Assist with monitoring and managing operations for dropship and concession retail partners, processing cancellation and return requests, and preparing regular operational performance reports.
• Ad Hoc Support: Provide assistance with miscellaneous requests, data pulls, analysis, and competitive analysis to monitor best-in-class customer service policies and online experiences.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level candidate currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree as a rising Junior or Senior at a local college or university, with a declared major or field of study relevant to e-commerce, business, or operations.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required, but a demonstrable interest in the e-commerce industry and an eagerness to learn about digital business operations are essential.
• Skills: English language proficiency, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, a detail-oriented work ethic, strong communication skills, and robust analytical and conceptual thinking abilities to contribute to team projects.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Spanish or French, or prior experience working with SAP.
