What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Manage daily accounting activities, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, recording journal entries, and maintaining organized financial records.
• Data Management: Accurately enter and update accounting data within QuickBooks and other financial systems with strong attention to detail.
• Transaction Review: Review invoices, payment requests, billing documentation, and account adjustments to ensure appropriate coding, supporting documentation, and approvals.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger balances, daily cash activity, and other assigned accounts to ensure financial record accuracy.
• Reporting Support: Assist with monthly and periodic reporting by preparing aging reports, account analyses, and financial summaries as requested.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with foundational knowledge in accounting support or finance.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an accounting support, accounting clerk, or similar finance role with hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, billing support, and data entry. Working knowledge of QuickBooks and general accounting system navigation is required.
• Skills: Ability to prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and account adjustments with high accuracy; strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; comfortable reviewing financial documents for completeness, coding accuracy, and proper authorization; strong written and verbal communication skills.
