The Tone:
This is an internship at Freezing Point, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Freezing Point is recognized as the fastest-growing frozen beverage company in the US, known for products like Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango. The company manages a vast network of over 50,000 machines across all 50 states and Canada. This high-value, high-impact Logistics Intern role is critical for assisting the Operations team in managing the movement of these essential assets, directly contributing to the immediate performance and growth of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record movements: Accurately document all machine movements within the company’s ERP, internal asset tracking databases, and CRM tools to maintain precise records.
• Coordinate installations: Collaborate with third-party installers to ensure timely and efficient coordination of machine movements, installations, and removals.
• Validate contracts and jobs: Thoroughly review sales contracts for completeness before initiating machine movements and verify completed jobs for accuracy and quality assurance.
• Manage inventory: Assist with machine inventory counts, actively investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure data integrity and operational alignment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize: Proactively identify and resolve machine bottlenecks, troubleshoot problems, escalate critical issues as needed, and contribute ideas to improve existing processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (Junior, Senior, or ambitious Sophomore level) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a similar applicable field. This role requires an individual who is energized by accuracy, possesses strong problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative work style that prioritizes team success over individual ego.
• Experience: This position involves building presentations, managing large datasets, and performing basic analytics. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional communication and follow-up skills (written, phone, in-person), comfort navigating high-stakes conversations, and a proven ability to build relationships and influence external partners to align with company objectives. You must possess a strong system for time management, prioritization, and triaging tasks, thriving in an environment where work is deadline-driven and demands managing large amounts of detailed information.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
• Bonus: Experience with SQL or enhanced Excel capabilities.
