Associate Director, Product Manager Leader – Secure Information Solutions | Raytheon

The Tone:
This is an Onsite role at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon company, with preferred locations in El Segundo, CA, Largo, FL, or Cedar Rapids, IA. Collins Aerospace is a leader in developing technologically advanced, intelligent solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. This leadership position is crucial for delivering secure information solutions within the Secure Tactical Communications organization, ensuring data and communications remain secure to enable mission effectiveness for U.S. Government service branches and global forces.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, El Segundo, CA, Largo, FL, Cedar Rapids, IA
• Pay: $157200–$298800 yearly
• Team: Leads a team of Product Managers within the Secure Tactical Communications organization under Resilient Connectivity Products in Mission Systems.
• Mission: Drives product strategy and execution across the full RTX Lifecycle Program Management framework, covering long-range business planning, pursuit and capture, program and delivery performance, and sustainment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead a team of Product/Program Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver commitments to US Government customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage profit and loss responsibilities for both internally and externally funded efforts.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, and performance of large and/or complex programs using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.
• Provide active leadership across the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, development, coaching, performance management, and engagement.
• Communicate with senior executive leadership on matters of strategic importance and establish targets for the portfolio to achieve financial and operational objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 10-16 years of relevant experience, including Program Management with Profit and Loss responsibility and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex portfolios, balance technical understanding with business acumen, apply strategic insight, and enable sound decision making.
• Bonus: Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and communication styles, familiarity with NSA certification and approval processes, experience briefing senior leadership and external customers, active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, strength in interpersonal and presentation skills, and experience managing multiple priorities.
