Customer Operations Manager, MM | AMER | Deel

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deel, located remotely within the AMER region. Deel is an all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, combining HRIS, payroll, compliance, benefits, performance, and equipment management into one seamless solution. This role is crucial for building genuine and lasting customer relationships, acting as the face and voice of Deel, and driving long-term revenue growth by advising clients and advocating for their needs internally.

• Mission: This role is responsible for building genuine and durable customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and acting as an internal advocate to drive long-term revenue growth and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact and representative for Deel’s clients, both internally and externally.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting customer relationships to identify and secure long-term revenue opportunities.
• Strategic Guidance: Advise clients on operational and product challenges, providing strategic solutions and support.
• Internal Advocacy: Champion client needs and feedback internally to promote product development and business expansion.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and address customer churn risks, coordinating internal teams and managing client communications to resolve issues promptly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A generalist with a strong business-building mindset and a track record of achievement, gained in a fast-growth startup, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant client-facing work experience, including drawing insightful conclusions from complex data, and confident cross-functional project management.
• Skills: Relationship building, data analysis and synthesis, cross-functional project management, problem-solving, and effective client communication.
