High School Administrative Assistant | TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1

What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Management: Provide and maintain an orderly and efficient office that creates a positive environment for the school community and general public.
• Financial Support: Process requisitions, purchase orders, credit card transactions, and cash receipts, while also running regular budget reports for the building principal.
• Staff Coordination: Monitor substitute reports daily, maintain staff records, orient substitutes, and arrange work orders for office equipment repairs.
• Student Information Management: Ensure accurate student registration, demographic data, schedules, records, and daily attendance reconciliation using PowerSchool.
• School Operational Support: Coordinate student activities, building and facility usage, manage school website communications, and assist with initial first aid needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school graduation or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven strong secretarial skills in office operations, including typing, filing, office equipment operation, and professional phone handling.
• Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and positively, maintain a high level of confidentiality, demonstrate strong organizational skills to multitask and prioritize, and quickly become proficient with district information and bookkeeping systems.
• Bonus: Basic accounting experience is preferred.
