What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Improvement: Drive the continuous evolution and enhancement of third-party risk management processes to maintain industry-leading standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and actively mitigate third-party risks discovered through rigorous risk and control testing during onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and off-boarding procedures.
• Control Framework: Design, implement, and thoroughly test controls to strengthen the overall third-party risk environment and ensure operational safety.
• Policy Development: Define and establish comprehensive third-party risk management policies, detailed procedures, and actionable playbooks that guide the organization.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain and regularly review key risk indicators, accurately register risk events, manage risk incident reports, and engage with business stakeholders and 2LoD colleagues by reporting to various committees on key third-party risk matters.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with 4+ years of experience in risk management or management consulting, preferably within financial services, and a subject-matter expert in outsourcing and third-party risk management.
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience in risk management or management consulting, with specific expertise in risk identification, monitoring, and controls, including implementation and testing.
• Skills: Impeccable data analysis and problem-solving abilities, an organized and methodological approach to work, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly assume responsibilities.
• Bonus: Fundamental knowledge of FCA and PRA outsourcing and TPRM regulations, alongside proficiency in SQL.
