The TL;DR

• Location: Hybrid, Dallas, TX
• Mission: To provide comprehensive litigation support by managing information retrieval, discovery processes, document organization, and case file maintenance, ensuring efficient and effective legal proceedings.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Information Retrieval & Analysis: Contact outside sources and search court-related databases to retrieve, review, and analyze case information.
• Discovery Management: Prepare written discovery requests and objections, facilitating the legal information exchange process.
• Document Production & Organization: Review, analyze, and organize document productions received from opposing parties and co-defendants in large multi-party cases.
• Evidence Summarization: Summarize transcripts and organize key documents to support case strategy and review.
• Case File & Witness Preparation: Prepare and organize materials necessary for expert witness review, while diligently managing documents and maintaining organized case files.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred; a Paralegal Certificate is also preferred. Core domain knowledge in litigation support is essential.
• Experience: At least 4 years of litigation paralegal experience, specifically including trial preparation and attendance. Proven experience with drafting subpoenas and creating logs for records received is also required.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to integrate into a team-oriented environment and take ownership of your own docket of cases.
• Bonus: Experience in insurance defense and/or construction defect cases is a significant advantage.
