The Tone:
This is a remote Legal Operations Associate position at Venture Institute, open to applicants based in the U.S. Decile Group operates an integrated platform for modern venture capital, spanning education, software, and fund operations. This role is crucial for launching and maintaining venture capital firms globally by managing their fund paperwork and operational matters.

The TL;DR
• Role: Legal Operations Associate
• Location: Remote, US
• Pay: $80000–$125000 yearly
• Mission: This person solves the problem of streamlining fund paperwork and operational matters for emerging venture capital firms from formation to governance to compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Help general partners and their funds worldwide with formation and ongoing maintenance/governance needs, potentially with expanding domiciles.
• Coordinate: Liaise with legal partners to prepare essential fund formation and governance agreements.
• Utilize: Work with the company’s evolving premiere SaaS platform designed for VC firms.
• Own: Take responsibility for managing fund client accounts and relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experience performing legal work under attorney supervision, with a paralegal and legal/fund operations background.
• Experience: 3+ years in legal or fund operations (performing legal work).
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high digital literacy, detail-oriented and analytical nature regarding legal agreements, and a strong professional phone and videoconferencing persona.
• Bonus: 2+ years of experience in venture capital, experience working in a startup or incubator, experience working with startup financings, multi-lingual capabilities, or SaaS experience.
