What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Online Complaints: Assist in the comprehensive management and efficient distribution of online complaints received by the Centralized Intake Unit.
• Process Law Enforcement Notifications: Support the critical function of generating and sending necessary notifications to law enforcement agencies across the state.
• Provide Administrative Support: Undertake various administrative support tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the unit, contributing to overall efficiency.
• Perform Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input data and meticulously maintain organized records, ensuring information integrity and accessibility.
• Monitor Communications and Workflows: Actively observe shared email inboxes and various work queues to facilitate timely processing and response to incoming information.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship opportunity. Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited university and actively pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in any academic major at the time the internship commences.
• Experience: No prior work experience is specifically required for this internship role, as it is designed for individuals currently pursuing higher education. The focus is on providing practical experience in a critical social services environment.
