What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, detailed forecasts, and insightful variance analyses.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify significant trends, potential risks, and key opportunities for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the annual budgeting process and contribute to accurate monthly financial forecasting.
• Data System Management: Build and maintain essential reports utilizing Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions, as well as other financial systems.
• Operational Partnership: Collaborate with operational leaders to clearly explain financial results and provide data-driven support for business decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation in financial principles.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a finance, accounting, business analysis, or related role, demonstrating practical application of financial concepts.
• Skills: Proven strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions, alongside robust analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: Prior experience within the healthcare or human services sector is considered a valuable asset, though not a strict requirement for the role.
