What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial operations of group captive insurance companies, collaborating with Underwriting, Risk Management, and Accounting teams.
• Client Financial Consulting: Perform financial analysis for clients and provide consultation to them around analytical findings.
• External Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and develop long-term relationships with clients and external service providers such as actuaries, tax advisors, auditors, investment managers, bankers, carriers, and TPAs.
• Board Reporting: Prepare and present financial materials for Board of Directors meetings of group captive insurance companies managed by Artex.
• Process Optimization & New Ventures: Manage process improvement projects, act as an analytical or procedural expert on cross-functional deliverables, and assist in the formation and management of new group captive insurance companies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Bonus: Minimum 1 year relevant experience, financial accounting or related experience, willingness to travel to client-facing or internal meetings 4-6 times per year, experience in client-facing roles, experience with Power BI, prior experience with SQL Server or a willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of data reporting or willingness to learn.
