The Tone:
This is a Hybrid role at EY-Parthenon, for various US locations. The firm partners with CEOs, Boards, Private Equity, and Governments, offering investment banking services through Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA). As an Investment Banking Analyst, this role is vital, contributing to objective advice on M&A and corporate financing through highly focused industry teams, working on high-profile transactions in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise companies on strategic and corporate finance alternatives, driving the execution of M&A transactions.
• Prepare pitch books, descriptive information memoranda, and related materials for M&A and capital raising mandates.
• Perform extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis, and pro forma financial modeling.
• Identify key issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk within engagements.
• Conduct in-depth market-sector and company-specific research, and drive analyses.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience in investment banking or similar M&A execution experience, strong working knowledge of Excel, and efficient use of research databases.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses, a proven record of excellence in M&A investment banking, experience in or interest in the Industrials sector, and knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools.
