What You’ll Actually Do
• Execution: Drive the execution of M&A and corporate finance transactions, advising companies on strategic and financing alternatives.
• Analysis: Perform extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis, and pro forma financial modeling to identify key trends and risks.
• Deliverables: Prepare critical client materials including pitch books, descriptive information memoranda, and marketing presentations.
• Research: Conduct in-depth market-sector and company-specific research to inform analyses and identify potential transaction risks.
• Development: Support business development initiatives and contribute to the professional development of team members.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree with prior experience in investment banking or similar M&A execution.
• Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience in investment banking or similar M&A execution experience.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of Excel for financial modeling and in-depth analysis; strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; efficient use of research databases; strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses; a proven record of excellence in investment banking with a focus on M&A transactions; experience in or interest in the Industrials sector; knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
