Litigation Paralegal | Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and draft essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
• Court Filing: Electronically file all court documents in compliance with state and federal court procedures.
• Case Investigation: Conduct thorough legal research and factual investigations to gather necessary case information.
• Discovery Management: Draft and respond to discovery documents, including interrogatories and other requests.
• Trial Support: Coordinate and summarize depositions, assisting with witness preparation and case settlements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with required experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, premises liability, first party, or medical malpractice.
• Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in legal document preparation, e-filing, and discovery management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workloads under minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication, alongside meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program.
