As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Hilco Corporate Finance team, contributing to every stage of client engagements from early business development activities through transaction closing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Significantly contribute to preparing transaction-related documentation and marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda, pitch books, teasers, and management presentations.
• Coordinate: Manage virtual data rooms and coordinate client and third-party due diligence processes.
• Research: Conduct in-depth company and industry research to support specific client engagements and marketing opportunities.
• Analyze: Apply superior quantitative and analytical skills to perform financial modeling and comprehensive financial analysis.
• Develop: Participate in business development training and coaching to position for long-term success and growth within the firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record, in a field relevant to investment banking. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: At least 6 months of full-time investment banking transactions-related work experience at an investment banking firm.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and financial analysis; excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and problem-solving skills; superior organizational and time management skills with extraordinary attention to detail; proficiency with financial research tools and MS Office; ability to obtain FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.
• Bonus: Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform effectively in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player; ability to travel as needed.
