What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Perform extensive financial and valuation analyses to assess debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions, providing guidance to junior analysts.
• Model: Build advanced financial models to value potential and actual clients and/or industries, leveraging a broad understanding of valuation, finance, and accounting topics.
• Lead: Lead due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for potential and live transactions, proactively identifying and communicating potential deal issues to the team.
• Present: Develop, produce, and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, actively participating in client meetings and drafting sessions.
• Cultivate: Take ownership of client relationships, fostering effective dialogue with finance and accounting staff, anticipating needs, and providing seamless solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required. This is an Associate-level role in Investment Banking, demanding a deep, sophisticated understanding of accounting and finance.
• Experience: Internship or prior work experience in the financial services industry preferred. Must acquire SIE Exam prior to beginning employment, and Series 79 and Series 63 within 90 days for campus hires, or within 150 days for experienced hires.
• Skills: Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities, excellent mathematical, writing, verbal, and computer skills, effective leadership and coaching skills, and sound judgment.
• Bonus: An MBA is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong desire to win and a commitment to satisfying internal and external customers.
