The firm delivers independent strategic and financial advice to corporations, financial sponsors, and other institutional clients across a comprehensive suite of services including mergers and acquisitions, capital solutions, financial restructuring, and valuation. This opportunity is designed for a highly motivated Associate to contribute directly to client coverage, transaction execution, marketing initiatives, and new business development. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Advisory: Support senior bankers in providing independent strategic and financial advice to clients on mergers & acquisitions, capital structure, financing solutions, and valuation.
• Financial Material Creation: Prepare detailed financial analyses, ad hoc reports, and comprehensive presentation and marketing documents to support client discussions and new business origination efforts.
• Transaction Process Management: Assist with all aspects of transaction execution, including developing financial models, coordinating due diligence, managing transaction processes, and producing client deliverables.
• Internal and External Coordination: Collaborate with internal industry and product teams to deliver high-quality advisory services, while also supporting client relationship development and broader business initiatives.
• Market and Industry Research: Conduct thorough company, industry, market, and transaction research to inform deal execution, identify strategic opportunities, and contribute to the firm’s growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree with strong academic performance is required. This role demands core domain knowledge in investment banking, financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, capital solutions, and valuation.
• Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in investment banking, preferably from a leading M&A boutique, investment bank, financing team, corporate development group, or a related advisory platform.
• Skills: Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen, proven experience with financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional work ethic with attention to detail.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include comfort using AI tools and technology to streamline workflows, strong intellectual curiosity, the maturity and executive presence to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders, and an entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development and long-term client coverage.
