Senior Analyst – Capital Markets & Corporate Development | Lambda

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Lambda, requiring presence in the San Francisco or New York City office four days per week. Lambda builds The Superintelligence Cloud, providing AI cloud infrastructure to tens of thousands of customers, from researchers to enterprises and hyperscalers. This role is critical for driving Lambda’s strategic growth initiatives and partnerships, debt and equity capital raises, and M&A opportunities as the company expands rapidly. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in executing transactions that support Lambda’s long-term vision.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identification: Identify and evaluate M&A, strategic investments, and capital raises to accelerate growth and strengthen the balance sheet.
• Financial Analysis: Lead financial modeling, valuation, capital structure analysis, and due diligence for M&A, investments, and financing activities.
• Strategic Communication: Conduct strategic and financial evaluations, communicating findings through business case memos and executive presentations.
• Market Tracking: Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and capital markets to inform corporate development and financing strategy.
• Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and relationships with financial sponsors, lenders, and investors to enhance offerings and growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or venture capital.
• Experience: 2+ years in financial roles, ideally with a focus on AI, cloud infrastructure, debt capital markets, and/or restructuring.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, including building company or merger models; strategic thinking with an ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights; excellent presentation and communication abilities for executives and external stakeholders; ability to balance multiple complex projects in a high-growth environment.
• Bonus: Deep interest in AI, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technology trends; prior experience in the machine learning or GPU computing space.
