What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning Support: Support financial planning, analysis, and reserving activities that help guide strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Financial Projections: Develop plan exhibits, compile financial projections, and analyze budget versus actual results.
• Documentation & Coordination: Contribute to maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating plan updates with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Actuarial Assistance: Assist in the preparation and validation of actuarial reserve analyses.
• Reporting Integrity: Directly support leadership insights and help ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Experience: 1 or more years of professional experience, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Foundational analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret data; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow direction, manage tasks, and maintain consistent productivity.
• Bonus: Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, or actuarial concepts; familiarity with insurance industry practices or financial processes; experience supporting reporting, forecasting, or data analysis initiatives; experience collaborating with cross-functional teams or presenting information to stakeholders.
