Legal Practice Assistant – Legacy Liability Litigation | Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP

• Mission: Deliver comprehensive administrative and substantive legal support to the Legacy Liability Litigation practice group, ensuring superior client service and efficient case management.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, electronic databases.

What You’ll Actually Do
• File Management: Manage and organize all case and client files, both manually and digitally, leveraging internal and external electronic databases.
• Document Production: Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing documents, gathering factual support, and preparing various pleadings, discovery, and production materials.
• Research & Investigation: Conduct thorough research, fact investigations, and analysis for mass tort matters and other requests, utilizing publicly available documents.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate communication and planning across attorney teams handling multiple client matters, distributing draft documents and managing timelines.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including document production, processing expense forms and vendor invoices, and preparing meeting minutes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in any field, serving as an early career legal professional.
• Experience: One (1) year of combined internship or professional experience is preferred, with a two-year commitment to the role expected. Professional services industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and critical thinking, with a proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks. Maintain discretion with confidential information and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: A 3.5 GPA or higher is preferred, along with flexibility for occasional travel and evening work hours.
