What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to comprehensively evaluate business performance, pinpoint emerging trends, and explain significant variances.
• Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports designed for leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Strategic Planning Support: Actively support the critical processes of budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range strategic planning across the organization.
• Month-End Close: Assist diligently with month-end close activities, including performing detailed variance analysis and ensuring accurate reconciliations.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and rigorously maintain robust financial models that serve as essential tools for business planning and strategic decision-making processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, establishing a foundational understanding for this early career position.
• Experience: Bring at least two years of relevant experience in Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), along with specific experience related to inventory management.
• Skills: Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Bonus: Show exposure to PowerBI, indicating an aptitude for advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools.
