This Financial Analyst position is crucial for providing essential financial and operational support to the D&T Department, ensuring effective resource allocation, adherence to GAAP compliance, and clear financial visibility for D&T and Finance Management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Execute, maintain, and enhance financial forecasting and reporting models to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting of D&T costs throughout the year, supporting effective financial planning.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly D&T financial reports, providing detailed explanations for variances against forecast and plan, and clearly communicating findings, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Close Process: Assist in the monthly close process by preparing necessary journal entries and performing account reconciliations for D&T expense accounts, while also tracking D&T invoices to aid in accrual creation.
• Project Support: Provide ongoing analytical support to D&T project managers, assisting with the creation, tracking, management, and comprehensive reporting of project financials.
• Contract Oversight: Provide oversight and validation of D&T contracts to ensure alignment against established budgets and strict adherence to Signet’s capitalization policy, including preparing necessary support and documentation for audit requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. This is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, treasury, internal audit (IA), General & Administrative (G&A) Support, or financial analytics.
• Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot tables and VLOOKUP, is required for this position.
• Bonus: Prior experience with SAP is preferred for candidates applying to this role.
