Financial Analyst II | Osaic

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Osaic, located in Scottsdale, AZ. Osaic is a company operating within the financial services industry. This position is critical for providing financial insights and supporting the financial performance of various departments within the Operations and Technology solutions group. The Financial Analyst II will collaborate closely with business unit executives and other stakeholders to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide financial guidance to business unit leaders, assisting in decision-making and cost management efforts.
• Plan: Develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for various departments.
• Analyze: Analyze financial performance against key business metrics, offering insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Model: Prepare comprehensive financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Report: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, identifying and implementing process improvements for finance functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an FP&A, finance, or business analysis role, including experience with financial reporting and general ledger applications tools.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analysis, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong written and verbal communication, and acute attention to detail.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree, prior financial services industry experience (wealth management, investment management, broker-dealer, insurance, banking, specialty finance), or experience with Workday Financials.
